Biosaline Biomass, Energy for The Netherlands in 2040
A study highlighting the potentials of biosaline biomass as a provider of renewable energy. Pros (no competition with food production, regeneration of wastelands) were balanced against some Cons (development needed, possibly some salt in the biomass)
This project was developed in a cooperation between PRI Wageningen, Ocean Desert Enterprises (OASE), Copernicus Instituut (RU-Utrecht) and Essent.
