Kelp Chips ARE made of the giant Kelp seaweeds, harvested along the Pacific shores of Baja California. In The Netherlands this product is introduced as CHIPS UIT ZEE.

The Pacific coast of Baja California is known for its large kelp forests, huge underwater seaweed forests close to the shore. They have been used by the local inhabitants for generations. Harvested in a sustainable manner, the kelp is processed with the golden wheat from the regional desert farms into seaweed pasta. Kelp Chips (sold in the Netherlands under the name: CHIPS UIT ZEE) are the first product of a new OceanDesertFood line of products with a long shelf life.

Kelp Chips contain a healthy mixture of minerals from algae, wheat and sea salt. They are to be fried for 15 seconds in hot oil before served. Just add some lemon or prepare a Salicornia guacamole and this healthy snack with a fresh taste from the sea is ready.

Kelp Chips are currently available as CHIPS UIT ZEE for whole salers and gourmet restaurants in The Netherlands.
