OceanDesertFood is importing salicornia in Europe since 1999. Quality is our main care. Production using the pure water from the Pacific and following biological protocols, hygienic measures, controlled packaging and cool storage in the field, cooled transport by road and air are all contributing to an excellent quality.
Off-season supplies
The Mexican climate enables production when in Europe no salicornia can be harvested. The colour of the salicornia can vary according to the season. OceanDesertFood is able to supply the crop from September till June packaged in styrofoam boxes of 5 kgs.
Deliveries are made to wholesalers only.
