Projects

OASE projects are being developed in line with OASE’s mission. Starting up in the saline coastal areas Mexico’s Baja California with Salicornia production and agro-forestry- and landscaping trials, OASE jumped over to the other side of Baja into the barren fields of the Colorado Delta. Partners in other areas of the world came in: spreading from Cape Verde in W-Africa to the Middle East and S-Asia.

OASE-projects can be desk studies to raise the attention to biosaline potentials (biomass for renewable energy) or they can organize existing know how to create more knowledge (BIOSAFOR). They can be trials and pilots or demonstration projects that fill in gaps in the value chain (Colorado Projects). Or they can be the first steps to commercialisation of a halophytic product (ODE SeaVegetables). All projects are developed with the joined forces of public and private partners.
